Enliven your summer with this month's fashion twist on British fashion designer Luella Bartley who has been adding her taste for style and elegance to the fashion world since 2000.
Luella Bartley was born in England in 1974. She studied fashion at Central St. Martins College, in London and was originally a British Vogue fashion journalist who chose to use the name "Luella" for her fashion house.
Her first collection was shown in the year 2000, and only consisted of 6 models showing off her clothes in a friend's apartment. But three seasons onwards, she held a full-scale fashion show with celebrity fans such as Kate Moss and Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri who were seated in the front row.

Luella's more recent ready-to-wear spring-summer 2009 collection included pale shades of lilac, blue and green combined with her trademark stylish eccentric touch. Most of her pieces were also accessorized with feminine frilled edges, pearls and delicate bows which can all be eclectically enjoyed by many of her fashion enthusiasts.
