Puma's Fashion Guest
The PUMA trainer trend which was big about a year ago seems to be on its way back, only this time PUMA have a very hot plan as they announce their future collaboration with fashion designer Alexander McQueen. "Alexander McQueen is one of the most creative minds in fashion, and his collaboration with PUMA will make his work accessible to a broader customer," Jochen Zeitz, chairman and chief executive of PUMA, said in a statement."- as well as offering a collection produced jointly with Christy Turlington, PUMA also offers exclusive ranges from Neil Barrett, Philippe Starck and Alexander van Slobbe. Other high fashion names who have recently caught the fitness bug are Alexander McQueen's Gucci mate Stella McCartney, who is in her second season of a very successful deal with Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto who also designs for Adidas.
“I have always had a great passion for trainers, so I am very excited about this collaboration with PUMA. I am confident that my design philosophy, combined with PUMA’s excellence in the field, will result in a totally unique product. I believe that this partnership will be a great success,” said Alexander McQueen.
The collection will be shown on London's next Fashion Week.
