Luxury designer label Prada is planning to sell its German brands Jil Sander and Helmut Lang due to financial difficulties. According to the German newspaper "Boersen-Zeitung", Prada CEO Patrizio Bertelli wants to speed up the sale of the companies in order to generate cash for a 700 millon Euro bond that Prada has to pay back by mid-2005. The Italian company also plans to carry out an IPO in late 2005 or early 2006. Find out more about designer label Prada.
